Professional 2K and 4K Digital Cinema Packages for festival and theatrical screenings. We review your picture, audio and delivery specifications before mastering, and flag source issues before they reach your DCP.
Bring your film to different audiences with subtitle integration and additional DCP versions. Work starts from translated, synchronised subtitle files supplied by you.
Screeners, online viewing files and broadcast deliverables prepared to the recipient’s specifications. Technical quality control (QC) and troubleshooting can also be booked separately.
The final quote confirms the price, currency, deliverables and delivery date before booking. Additional work is agreed before it begins.

About the studio
Postgrain is an independent post-production studio based in Madrid, working internationally. We specialise in DCP mastering and final delivery for independent cinema, with technical care and a personal approach to every film.
Founded by Delia Julián, Postgrain draws on over nine years of professional experience across film and television.
Her DCP mastering work includes El silencio de otros, Cinco lobitos, Segundo premio and Cerdita.
The process
A defined scope, a confirmed schedule and direct contact throughout your project.
Share your runtime, source format, deadline and any festival specifications. You receive a proposal defining the deliverables, review scope, price and schedule.
Once the scope and schedule are agreed, you send the approved master, final mix and any subtitle files using the agreed transfer method. Source issues are flagged before mastering.
We create your DCP with easyDCP, validate it and review the entire film in software. Audio is monitored on headphones, using a stereo downmix for 5.1. You receive a validation report; any issues found are discussed before delivery.
You receive your DCP and agreed additional files digitally, with handoff instructions. File retention and support terms are specified in your quote. Physical copies are available at an additional cost.
Before you send your film
Send the technical requirements you have received from the festival or venue. Postgrain can help you identify the files and versions you need.
Start with your project details; there is no need to upload your film with the enquiry. Once the quote and schedule are agreed, we confirm the transfer method and send upload instructions. Download availability and file retention are confirmed before booking.
Your festival delivery, in one place: a DCP, a viewing screener and help understanding the festival’s technical requirements. Add subtitle versions when needed. Quoted per project. Subtitle versions from your translated, synchronized files can be added. The quote defines each deliverable and the support included. Translation, festival submissions and unlimited redeliveries are not included.

The package format is agreed after checking the recipient’s requirements. Let us know if your festival or venue requests a specific format.
Yes. You supply translated, synchronised subtitles; Postgrain converts and integrates them into the agreed DCP versions. Translation is not included. Corrections, timing adjustments and adaptation to other formats can be quoted separately.
Encryption and KDM generation can be included on request. Server certificates, playback windows and the lead time for issuing keys must be agreed in advance.
Digital delivery is the standard option. A physical copy can be quoted separately, including copying, the SSD or USB drive and shipping. Media and formatting must meet the recipient’s requirements.
Initial enquiries are normally answered within 2–3 business days. Production dates are confirmed after reviewing your materials, requirements and availability. Rush work is only accepted by prior agreement.
